Derg Mourne Learning Community

Welcome to the website of the Derg Mourne Learning Community.

The Derg Mourne Learning Community (DMLC) was established in September 2006 when the five local Post Primary Schools, Special School and two Regional Colleges agreed the formation of a group in order to develop Post Primary education in the Strabane District Council area.

The Six Post-Primary Schools are
Castlederg High School,
Holy Cross College,
Knockavoe School and Resource Centre,
St Eugene's High School, Castlederg,
Strabane Grammar School and
Strabane High School.

The two regional Colleges are
North West Regional College and
South West College, Omagh Campus.

The Derg Mourne Learning Community's strategic intent is to develop and agreed framework for educational provision for all 14-19 young people which provides equality of opportunity for achievement and progression and reflects the needs of our young people and the Northern Ireland economy.
