Hello and Welcome. Foyle View School is a controlled special school for children with severe learning difficulties, aged between 3 and 19 years, living in Derry and surrounding districts. The school provides a 16 year continuity of pastoral care and education for pupils with learning difficulties and associated disabilities. There are places for up to 130 pupils. High staffing ratios and excellent teaching facilities mean staff can promote a high standard of learning. As Principal of Foyle View School, I am delighted to be part of the Foyle Learning Community from its inception. In Foyle View School , we strive to provide a full and varied curriculum which enhances the intellectual, physical, cultural and moral development of our children and young people. Being part of this Learning Community has allowed our pupils to avail of additional educational opportunities which have greatly enhanced their self esteem/ self confidence and educational achievements. |
